Upcoming public tours

We are hard at work behind the scenes getting our summer tour schedule published!  Please sign up above for the newsletter so you will be the first to know!

We will be offering standing public tours every Tuesday and Saturday morning throughout the summer and fall.  Details to be announced shortly!!

Also look for our next Whole Damn City tour to be announced by May 1, 2016.

Wanna know just what a WDC tour is?  Listen to us while we rock a (St. Louis On The Air) mic like a vandal.  We apologize for the Ice Ice Baby earworm.  Syke.

Private Tours are ALWAYS an option - choose from the tours below and give us a call or email to book!  We do have a minimum of 3 group members or a minimum cost of $45.

Photographing The Grove - This neighborhood is home to some of the best city visuals in St. Louis, from street art to the old  brick architecture we all love, and holds some of the best night life events in town.  Our newest Renegade, Julie, will guide guests through this gorgeous and eccentric neighborhood, which definitely is one of the most renegade places in town, while offering guidance on urban photography techniques. Bring a smart phone or a  regular(!) camera and prepare to learn to see our beautiful city through a different lens.  20 bucks.  1.5 hours.  Minimum # of participants: 3.

Central West End for Nerds - Tour also may appeal to non-nerds, but it will reeeeaaallly appeal to those of the nerd-suasion.  Great history, architecture, literature, chess, big-ass churches (sorry mom)...this tour is really one of our favorites.  15 bucks. 2 hours.

Forest Park, Renegade Style - Walking tour of our favorite park-bigger-than-Central-Park-thankyouverymuch. This tour explores the park's fascinating history, from prairie to World's Fair site, from city sleeping ground to crime-ridden park, to it's rebirth as one of the best parks in the whole, stinkin' world.  15 bucks.   2-Hours.

Wanna take even MORE control of your destiny?  We also offer a robust list of custom tour options.  You can choose from our existing tour catalog (see above, silly) or we are happy to create a tour based on your group's interests!

Past customized tours:

  • Walking (or bus!) tours for out-of-town wedding guests
  • Bus tours for large civic groups, highlighting politically and socially charged areas
  • Bus tour showcasing St. Louis history and neighborhoods for potential employees
