Going Renegade

At Renegade STL we strive to provide fresh & offbeat perspectives and stories about this city we love, and we refuse, I repeat, refuse, to take ourselves too seriously.

Amy.  Freaking.  Flauaus.  She's come on board the Renegade train to straighten us out and run the business side of things, which we are hella-excited about!  A lover of all things St. Louis and general all-around badass, she's also the incredible navigator on the Whole Damn City Tour.

The newest Renegade On The Block (our band, album forthcoming), Adriana is an architect by day, and, um, sleeping person by night.   Where Amanda nerds out over great stories and old presidents - Adriana can talk some mean architectural history, helping us finally sort out lintels from lentils and answering the question of "WTF are those star shaped things on the sides of buildings?"   A native St. Charlesian, she has recently moved to St. Louis, by way of Brooklyn, NY and Springfield, MO.

Tour guide Julie Johnson is a teacher and artist working primarily in photography.  Her artwork has been greatly impacted by her time as a social service worker and educator in St. Louis. She is best known for her beautiful photographs of urban landscapes, street art, and city scenes that depict the broad spectrum of experiences occurring in this cool city we call home.  You can buy her cool work here: http://stlheartcards.storenvy.com/ . When Julie isn't creating beautiful art & saving the world...she can be found hanging with her kids & daydreaming about creative budgeting.
